11th Hour Missions
We believe our purpose in God’s Kingdom to be the general promotion of the Great Commission to the world, through the action of the
local church (Matthew 28:16), providing churches and missionaries with spiritual, financial, material, or organizational support.
Though not a mission board, Eleventh Hour is a clearinghouse for missionaries. Our purpose is to facilitate the handling
of funds and assist the missionary on deputation or in the field. We do not qualify or send missionaries, though there must
be agreement on doctrine between parties. We believe that a missionary in the field should be free to make his own decisions
under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, accountable only to his sending church and his supporters.
First Calvary Baptist
Church is the governing body for Eleventh Hour Missions. Administration of the program is the responsibility of the Director
and the Board of Advisors, who are chosen from the local area. All personnel report to the Director, who is accountable to the
Board of Advisors and the congregation of First Calvary Baptist Church.
It is the goal of EHM to promote missions in the local churches by helping them plan and execute an annual Faith Promise Mission Conference.
We will provide whatever assistance is necessary to achieve that goal.
We will help missionaries on deputation get to the field,
and provide assistance to struggling missionaries to enable them to stay on the field.
We will provide logistics to enable missionaries
to travel to and from the field, in regular and emergency situations.
We will serve as a “clearinghouse” for missionaries for
all financial services, including special needs projects.
Additionally we will provide printed material for missionaries as need
dictates, and see that it gets delivered to the field.
